A silk dress that runs metres behind you, a cliff edge or a stretch of open water, and the Aegean doing what it does at the right hour of the day.

We started this in Paros because it is the place we know best, and we still shoot it here more than anywhere else. But it travels. We have run flying dress sessions on other Greek islands, abroad, and once underwater.

Most couples arrive slightly nervous and leave asking when they can do it again. That gap closes in the first ten minutes, once it becomes clear that nobody is going to ask you to pose like a catalogue.

We shoot at the hour when the island empties out and the light goes long: a walk through a village lane, the two of you on a rock with the sea below, the dress moving if you want the dress. It works as well for a couple on their tenth anniversary as it does for two people who met in April.

Sunrise sessions are the quietest on the island. Can be combined with a proposal.

Families on holiday take hundreds of photographs and end up in almost none of them together. This fixes that.

We work with groups of any size: three generations on a terrace, six friends on a boat, a bridal party getting ready in the same room. The rhythm is different from a couples session, more moving parts, more waiting, more laughing between sets, so we plan for it. There is somewhere to sit, somewhere to change, and enough time that nobody is rushed into looking rushed.

Children are welcome, and are usually the reason the good frames happen.

There are coves around Paros and Antiparos you simply cannot reach on foot. We take the shoot to them.

A private yacht for the day, a route planned around where the light will be, and stops at the bays that stay empty even in August. On open water the dress has nothing to catch on and nothing behind it but blue, which is why the yacht sessions produce the widest, cleanest frames we shoot all season.

You do not organise anything. The boat, the captain, the route and the timing are ours to arrange. You step aboard.

Not every session belongs on a cliff edge. Some call for a door that closes.

We work with a selected group of villas across Paros: whitewashed terraces, infinity pools that run straight into the horizon, courtyards with stone arches and bougainvillea. For the hours of the shoot the villa is a set. You get ready inside, the dress moves across the terrace as the sun drops, and the last frames happen at the pool in blue hour.

It suits anyone who wants the images without an audience, and it suits groups, where everyone needs somewhere to sit between shots.

The whole job is to be invisible until the moment has happened, and then to be very quickly useful.

We scout the spot, work out where the sun will be at the minute you have chosen, and place the photographer far enough away with a long lens that nothing gives it away. You walk up, you do the part only you can do, and it is already photographed. Afterwards we come out, and the next hour becomes the first shoot of your engagement.

If you want more than that, a set table, flowers, a boat waiting, we arrange it. Tell us what you have pictured.

On the wedding day the dress belongs to the day. There are people to greet, a timetable to keep, and roughly eleven minutes when nobody needs you.

The next day photoshoot gives the dress its own morning. No guests, no timings, nobody waiting. You put it back on, we go somewhere the wedding day never allowed time for, and we shoot properly and unhurried, into the sea if you want to, because tomorrow it goes to the cleaners anyway.

Works on any day after the wedding, not only the next one. Trash-the-dress sessions are welcome, tell us in advance so we plan the route back.

A fortieth on a terrace. A bachelorette where eight friends arrive with one suitcase of outfits between them. A birthday that was supposed to be quiet and was not.

We treat these as shoots rather than as coverage. There is a plan, a location, hair and makeup before it starts, and a photographer working the whole time rather than being handed someone's phone. The flying dress turns up at a lot of these, usually about an hour in.

Whether it is one person before dinner or a room of six before a shoot, the kit arrives, the chairs go up, and everyone is finished by the time we said they would be.

Available across Paros and Antiparos. Same-day bookings depend on availability, a few days' notice is safer.

Bridal beauty is half artistry and half logistics, and the second half is the one people underestimate.

We work backwards from the ceremony, allow for the photographs, the bridesmaids, the mother of the bride and the one person who will inevitably be late, and we build the morning so that nobody is doing lipstick in a moving car. A trial beforehand means the day itself holds no surprises.

A camera on a rotating arm, a platform, and about eight seconds of everyone deciding what to do with their hands. The result is a slow-motion video that guests send to each other before the night is over.

We are the only ones running one in Paros. It works at weddings, birthdays, corporate evenings and anything else where the guests are the entertainment.
